In "Ambientes Urbanos," the city's rhythmic fluctuations, varying hourly and seasonally, interact with post-production algorithms to alter its organic flow, crafting an alternative daily life record. The work captures these movements meticulously, slowing and transforming time to abstract the city's elements. It seeks not just to produce a purely algorithmic abstraction but to create new moments, encouraging viewers to fully observe the urban landscape and the people who navigate it daily, often without pausing to truly appreciate it.

Technical Process Overview:

The creation involved a meticulous process beginning with field recordings captured at chosen street intersections throughout the city solely using a smartphone. The captured raw footage was then imported into Adobe Premiere for post production, where color correction techniques and stabilization processes were applied to optimize visual fidelity. Subsequently, the refined footage was processed in TouchDesigner, where generative algorithms were employed to transform the material, producing new abstract visual moments. This workflow not only ensures high-quality output but also allows for an exploration of dynamic visual narratives through algorithmic creativity.
